Privacy Policy for BaRe² Application Manager

BaRe² Application Manager (“the App”) is developed by Emerson Hill Studios.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles user data, including data stored in Google Drive.
1. Data We Collect
The App does not collect personal information such as name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or documents.
The App only accesses:
• The list of installed applications on the device
• Backup data that the App itself creates and stores in the user’s Google Drive appDataFolder
2. How Data Is Used
The App uses Google Drive solely to:
• Upload a backup file containing the list of installed apps
• Download that backup file to restore apps on a new device
The App does NOT:
• Access or read any other files in Google Drive
• Access user photos, documents, or any personal files
• Share data with third parties
• Use data for advertising or analytics
3. Google Drive Permissions
The App uses the following Google Drive scopes:
• drive.appdata — to store a private backup file
• drive.file (if used) — to read/write files created by the App
These permissions are required for backup and restore functionality.
4. Data Storage
Backup data is stored only in the user’s Google Drive appDataFolder, which is hidden from the user and other apps.
Only the App can access this folder.
5. Data Deletion
Users may delete their backup data at any time by:
• Uninstalling the App (local data)
• Removing the App’s access from https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
• Deleting the appDataFolder entry via Google Takeout
6. Security
All communication with Google Drive uses secure, encrypted connections.
The App does not transmit data to any server other than Google Drive.
